The self-guided walking tour passes through Broadway, North Pearl Street, State Street, Washington Avenue, and along the waterfront. Sites featured in the tour include the Palace Theatre (a performance art center), Empire State Plaza (huge state government office complex), Clinton Square (in the Clinton Avenue Historic District), historic St. Mary’s Church, and Albany City Hall. Several parks are also covered including Albany Riverfront Park, Lafayette Park, and West Capitol Park.
