Bronx Week
Festival period: May/June

Bronx Week is a 10-day celebration and major festival in the Bronx with plenty of activities held at various locations across the borough. Events include parades, flotilla on the Bronx River, a ball, film festival, trade expo, free concerts, and plenty of foods. The Grand Finale is the induction ceremony at the Bronx Walk of Fame.

The Bronx Independent Film Festival
Festival period: June

The Bronx Independent Film Festival is a major film festival in the borough. The festival is a three-day event screening films by independent filmmakers at the Lovinger Theatre in Lehman College, City University of New York. Films are from around the world including full feature films, short films, and documentaries.

Ferragosto Festival
Festival period: September

The Ferragosto Festival is a festival celebrated by Italian Americans in the Bronx at Arthur Avenue, a street in Little Italy. The festival has its origins in Italy beginning during Roman times and is a lively street fair with plenty of Italian foods and traditional street performances including music and dance.
