Brooklyn Heights

Brooklyn Heights is another of Brooklyn's neighborhoods along the East River waterfront. This is an upscale neighborhood and home for many of New York City's more affluent residents. For most parts, Brooklyn Heights is a designated historic district occupied by red-brick row houses, apartments, and a few mansions built during the 19th and early 20th century. Many of the restaurants here are in the medium price range with a handful of upscale restaurants. However, Brooklyn Heights does have its fair share of takeaways and budget priced eateries.

There are plenty of eateries including bistros, casual dining restaurants, and cafes serving traditional American meals. There are also the trendier American restaurants specializing in nouveau American cuisines. However, Italian restaurants and pizzerias seem to dominate the food scene in this historic neighborhood. Others dotted across the neighborhood include Latin American, Middle Eastern, East European, Mediterranean, Chinese, and Indian restaurants.
