St. Ann's Warehouse
St Ann's Warehouse is a performing arts theater located at 38 Water Street in Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood. Housed in a converted warehouse, the theater has a seating capacity between 300 and 1,200, depending on the theater set-up. Since 1980, St. Ann's Warehouse has been the venue for varieties of musicals and plays as well as some of the most innovative and experimental works in theater. Concert programs include jazz, blues, rock, and hip-hop to name a few. Famous musicians that have performed here include David Bowie, Joe Strummer, Jackson Browne, and Lou Reed.

Brick Theater
The Brick Theater opened in 2002 and currently housed in a refurbished brick-walled building that was formerly a garage. Located at Metropolitan Avenue in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood, the Brick Theater is an independent non-profit theater founded by Robert Honeywell and Michael Gardner. The theater has a seating capacity for only 70 and though a small theater, it is well-known for its works ranging from classical to experimental plays, which many have received critical acclaim. Performances at the Brick Theater include monthly performances and seasonal festivals by emerging artists in New York City.

Billie Holiday Theater
The Billie Holiday Theater is at Restoration Plaza, located along Fulton Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant. The 200-seat Billie Holiday Theater is well-known for its quality theater and musical productions, producing many Off-Broadway hit shows and others on national tours. Furthermore, the theater has launched the careers of many talented actors, actresses, directors, choreographers, composers, and musicians. These include the famous actor Samuel Jackson, actress Tichina Arnold, and choreographer Debbie Allen. Tickets are affordable
if you consider the high quality of the performances and priced at $15-20.
