You can take a guided tour of the Niagara Falls State Park on the Niagara Falls Scenic Trolley. The trolleys run on environmentally friendly natural gas as part of the park’s “Green Park Project”. These vintage-style trolleys are heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer. The route travels in a loop and each trip takes about 30 minutes to complete, stopping at several locations within the park. The ride cost $2 for adults, $1 for kids aged 6-12 years, and free for kids aged five years and below. Tickets are available at various locations within Niagara Falls State Park.

The trolleys run daily from April or May to December with operating hours varying according to season. The trolley ride is a great way to relax and explore Niagara Falls State Park, especially with a guide to explain about its history. You can ride on the trolley for the entire length of the three-mile journey or get on and off at any of the six stops within the park. Stops include the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, near Rainbow Bridge, Prospect Point Park Observation Tower, Terrapin Point, Three Sister Islands Footbridge, and entrance to the Cave of the Winds.
