Niagara Falls main attraction is Niagara Falls State Park, the second most visited destination in New York State after Manhattan in New York City. Attracting millions of visitors each year, Niagara Falls State Park is home to the majestic Niagara Falls comprising of the Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. Within the state park are the small islands of Goat Island and Luna Island, offering closer views of the magnificent Niagara Falls. The Three Sisters Islands off the western shore of Goat Island are home to a variety of micro-habitats including fauna and flora.

For the full experience of Niagara Falls, there are further attractions including activities. There is the guided tour of Niagara Falls State Park on the Niagara Falls Scenic Trolley, a 30 minutes ride through several locations in the state park. You also have the option of the Niagara Falls Walking Tour, an interesting and entertaining guided walk by a former stand-up comic. The Rainbow Air Helicopter Tours offers a 15-minute ride for an aerial view of the Niagara Falls, and an option to fly along the Niagara River up to Fort Niagara. For the adventurous, the Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours takes you through some of the most turbulent rapids on the Niagara River.

The Adventure Theater in Niagara Falls State Park holds regular screenings about the history of Niagara Falls. The Niagara Falls Discovery Center is a hands-on museum devoted to the history of the Niagara Falls area. The Aquarium of Niagara is home to more than 1,500 species of marine and freshwater creatures including aquatic life from the Great Lakes. For science buffs, the Niagara Science Museum is a small yet interesting museum devoted to scientific discoveries and innovation.
