Queens County Farm Museum

 
 
The 47-acre (19 hectares) Queens County Farm Museum is located in the Queens neighborhood of Glen Oaks. The museum is a working farm dating back more than 300 years and today the only historical working farm and the largest working farm in New York City. The Queens County Farm Museum opens throughout the year from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and admission is free, except during public events.

The Queens Country Farm Museum offers an enjoyable escape without leaving the city. The museum features an old farmhouse, a greenhouse, planting fields, orchards, and vehicles used on the farm. Vegetable crops cultivated include turnip, kale, beet, radishes, and broccoli. Animals raised on the farm include cows, sheep, lamb, chicken, ducks, and pigs. Farm produce from the museum are available for purchase from the gift shop.
