Staten Island Film Festival

The Staten Island New York (SINY) Film Festival is a major event on Staten Island that began in 2006. The festival is a five-day event screening independent and international films of cultural significance at various venues on the island.

Staten Island Irish Fair

Each year in June, the Staten Island Irish Cultural Center organizes the two-day Staten Island Irish Fair, beginning with an opening ceremony by the Staten Island Irish Pipes and Drums. Besides the various performances, there are plenty of Irish foods to sample.

Staten Island Music Festival

The Staten Island Music Festival began in 2008 and held each year at the outdoor stages at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center. The concert includes performances by upcoming bands and musicians from Staten Island.

Staten Island Comedy Festival

Another New York City festival held in June is the Staten Island Comedy Festival. The festival began in 2008 and is a entertaining four-night event at the St. George Theatre featuring comedians from the states of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Staten Island Greek Festival
